I have been working at Roberts Crossley Solicitors in residential conveyancing since 2006 and commercial conveyancing since 2013.
I have experience in dealing with residential freehold and leasehold transactions for both registered and unregistered titles. I aim to provide efficient, reliable and friendly assistance with all aspects of the legal transaction on domestic sales and purchases along with re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
I also deal with new commercial leases, assignment of current commercial leases in addition to freehold and leasehold commercial sale and purchase transactions. As I understand that moving house can be a stressful time I try to make the process as stress free for my clients as possible, ensuring they are kept fully updated along the way. My work involves taking instructions from clients in relation to the sale, purchase or lease of land or property, conducting searches, approving and drafting contracts setting out the terms of the sale of a property, raising and dealing with enquiries through to exchange of contracts and completion of the transaction.
As part of my daily routine I liaise with clients, solicitors, the Land Registry, banks and building societies, local authorities and estate agents to ensure matters progress quickly and smoothly.
Outside of office hours my spare time is taken up by my little boy and weekends often involve family walks with the dog, trips to soft play centres and cuddling up on the sofa watching Disney films.
